Raleigh, North Carolina-August 10, 2017 - We at Women’s Theatre Festival are saddened to announce the unfortunate cancellation of Miss Lulu Bett, the final mainstage production of our 2017 season.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the production’s creative team carefully evaluated the situation , and was led to conclude this is the best course of action. WTF stands by their decision – the staff, Board of Directors and members wish to extend the deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to everyone who shared their time and talent on this production.

We sincerely apologize to our ticket holders. Patrons have two options: Request a full refund, or roll their tickets into to our upcoming Little Women Holiday Production. To obtain a refund or to exchange tickets, patrons should contact Brown Paper Tickets directly at 1-800-838-3006.

We greatly appreciate Cynthia Penn-Halal and everyone at Walltown Children's Theatre for providing this venue for WTF 2017. We also appreciate the generosity of Haus Page who designed, constructed and donated the costumes for this production.

Finally, we want to thank you, the members of the media who have supported WTF’s efforts with superb coverage. We apologize for any inconvenience or extra work this causes for you or members of your staff. Founder and Artistic Director Ashley Popio will be available for comment at your request.
