Lonely Planets and Bittersweet Laughs

July 5, 2017

Byron Woods' review of our production of Mora V. Harris' Space Girl encapsulates a lot of why this show is so wonderful. "In Women’s Theatre Festival Opener Space Girl, Alien Love, Alienation, and Roller Derby Provide Bittersweet Laughs." He gives 3.5 stars to the production (out of five), and notes that Mora's script is funny, and that my performance a

s Nancy evokes "Emo Phillips on fast-forward" (a compliment in my book). But he also notes "there's also poignancy here, as Charlotte becomes Arugula and Nancy's favorite human, particularly because what binds them together is how alienated they all habitually feel."

He praises Katy and Sarah's "insightful" direction, and Amani's talent as an actress! Be sure to come see this endearing and delightful show, and get your tickets now!
