WOMEN'S THEATRE FESTIVAL PRESENTS:
Women are Wicked
For centuries, women have been socialized to be meek, kind, gentle, and accommodating, but as Laurel Thatcher Ulrich famously wrote in 1976, "well-behaved women seldom make history," so perhaps it's time to fling meekness aside and make history instead!
Let's show women being angry and dangerous. Let's show strong women who break the rules for good reasons, and weak ones who break the rules for selfish reasons. Let's show women being true villians, and true women being villanized.
Let's get a little wicked, shall we?
